BASKETBALL COACH - SUMMER PART TIME SEASONAL BASKETBALL CAMP

MONDAY - THURSDAY 9AM-4PM

Like Mike Sports is actively seeking a Part-Time Basketball Coach to support its Summer Basketball camps with age ranges from 6-15 years old. The ideal candidate for this position must have experience coaching large groups and multiple teams, conducting practices in compliance with program standards, motivating and instructing player-athletes with in-game strategies, techniques, and sportsmanship. An ideal candidate for this position will also display excellent communication and organizational skills in order to effectively manage scheduled practice and game times.

Candidates:

• Must have experience in coaching youth basketball in a competitive organized program
• Must possess strong knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of Basketball
• Strong ability in correcting and critiquing players
• Must possess effective communication and MOTIVATIONAL skills that are age appropriate
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with both parents and children
• Must be energetic and have an outgoing, enthusiastic personality that would be beneficial to child development
• Must have prior experience in creating and implementing basketball programs
• Must have strong organizational skill set
• We are located in Cypress TX. Please only apply if you have reliable means of transportation and are willing to make the commute.

• Position reports to the Director of Operations
• Starting pay rate will be determined based on skill set and experience level
