Heavy Equipment Operator 

The heavy equipment operator’s duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of the materials, and coordinating with coworkers to ensure that the projects are completed accurately. They are required to conduct duties in a safe, diligent manner at all times.

Responsibilities 

• Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles used to transport it.
• Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
• Loading and off-loading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment
• always observing stipulated safety codes
•  Communicating with coworkers to make clear project specifications, as needed.
• Reporting injuries and other accidents to the manager
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
• Providing suggestions to refine workflow and boost efficiency.

Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
• Prior experience operation a variety of heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• A sound understanding of safety guidelines.
• Capacity to provide and follow directions.
• Decision-making skills, when under pressure.
• Ability to work extended hours as required.

Compensation 

• Base pay DOE
• Hours 40+
• Schedule Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
