ADMINSTRATIVE COORDINATOR

VPR Patient Outreach Program (VPR POP) connects our clients to the greatest resource in healthcare: the patient. We develop programs and resources that unite people living with progressive and rare diseases with others who are managing the same condition, sparking education and inspiration in patient communities across the country. Headquartered in Kansas City, we offer development, recruiting, training, management, creative services, and logistic support to clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. 

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is motivated and organized to support multiple aspects of our busy operation. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

While the candidate will need the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of our clients and projects, this role includes the following duties:

  • Welcome visitors in person and by phone and answer questions or refer inquiries
  • Assist in preparing patient speaker candidates for patient education program interviews
  • Support meeting planning and video production for multiple patient education programs
  • Research, identify, and reconcile credit card transactions related to patient education program travel
  • Ad-hoc projects in support of the finance department, including the use of Excel, Quickbooks, and FileMaker Pro

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills, including data entry and experience with databases
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong multitasker
  • Dedicated team player
  • Able to work in our Plaza office full time M-F (this is not a virtual or hybrid position)
