As a Land Planner, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of land use plans. Your expertise in project management, urban planning, and data analysis will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of various land planning projects.

Duties:

• Work with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with jurisdiction policies, city codes, and annexations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
• Understanding local jurisdictional requirements from comprehensive plans, to zoning codes, to detailed subdivision, landscape, and signage regulations/guidelines.
• Develop master plans, site plans and landscape plan for projects from minor commercial upfits all the way up to major residential subdivisions.
• Prepare rezoning applications, conceptual plans, permitting applications.
• Develop and implement strategies for land use and zoning.
• Manage all communication with clients for various multiple projects and provide engineering and technical support to clients.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in planning and design, landscape architecture or equivalent experience.
• Experience with land use and zoning regulations and policies.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Well organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage conflicting priorities.
