Location: Sanger CA, in the scenic foothills of Sequoia National Park

Duration: Summer Contract (May 29 - August 10)

• You are a high school senior, college student, or young adult who loves outdoor activities and helping young people grow.
• Full of energy and excitement, and you love making things fun and positive for kids.
• You work well with others, but you're also good at doing things on your own and coming up with new ideas.
• You either know or are eager to learn different activities like sports, arts, and outdoor fun.
• You're someone who takes responsibility seriously and can be a great example and guide for others, making sure everyone feels included, respected, and safe.
• You're looking forward to learning and growing both for yourself and in your job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with co-counselors and management to ensure camper health and safety.
• Lead and engage in various camp activities, sharing your skills and learning new ones.
• Serve as a role model and mentor, contributing to a positive and memorable camp experience.
• Assist in daily camp operations, ensuring smooth and enjoyable camp sessions.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older by June 1st
• A genuine interest in working with children and enthusiasm for outdoor activities.
• Prior experience in childcare or teaching is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Special skills in areas like swimming, martial arts, or wakeboarding are welcomed.
• Willingness to participate in our mandatory comprehensive training program.
