Grafton Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is looking to add a Full-Time quality team member who exhibits the core values of integrity, excellence, and harmony. Candidate should be friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.

Candidate must be willing to travel to all office locations (Houma, Morgan City, Raceland, Thibodaux).

Responsibilities

In general, the responsibilities to start would be:

• Obtaining a medical history on electronic medical records
• Perform basic clinical, administrative, and housekeeping duties.
• Will interact directly with patients while taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for exams and procedures, drawing blood, administering medications, removing sutures, and performing simple wound care.
• Will collect, prepare and run simple laboratory tests and sterilize medical equipment.
• Will assist the front desk with various administrative duties as requested.
• This person will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the waiting area and examination rooms, and monitoring and documenting supply levels.
• Specimen Collections
• Wound dressing
• Injections
• Phlebotomy

In addition, the below responsibilities would be taught over time:

• Scribe for physicians
• Assist with office procedures/surgeries
• Telephone triage
• Surgery and cosmetic scheduling
• Explain procedures and aftercare instructions to patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Previous experience in the medical field (Preferred)
