Traffic Control Technician

Advanced Traffic Control performs a wide variety of traffic control projects throughout the state of Iowa. Our team members start as a technician, assisting the Operator with various tasks.  

Essential Functions:   

• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Ability to operate manual equipment as needed
• Ability to perform manual labor; lifting objects up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work with crews of various sizes
• Submit daily reports of work performed
• Travel to remote job-sites
• Work irregular, long hours; some weekend work will be required
• Be able to work in hot/humid outdoor conditions where temps can reach 100+ degrees in the middle of the summer. 
• Regular & prompt attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements:

Clean driving record and valid drivers license.  

High School Diploma or equivalent 

Pass pre-employment drug screen
