POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Spirit Brand Manager will sell, market & host spirit tastings and events throughout Connecticut territories. This includes introducing the brands to accounts and to consumers through account visits and account activation. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Represent and sell specific brand(s) through the customer base in the state of Connecticut.

 

  • Responsible for documenting account visits, including which products were sampled or discussed, information on depletion, the state of the account’s shelf-set, and recommended next-steps for the account.

 

  • Generate leads, and open accounts at the discretion of Murphy

 

  • Promote products or services at various events and locations

 

  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service

 

  • Create brand awareness through social media management and online marketing efforts

 

  • Conduct product demos and provide information about the features and benefits of the brand's offerings

 

  • Assist with event marketing initiatives, including setup, teardown, and logistics coordination
  • Deliver public speaking engagements to educate and inform audiences about the brand

 

  • Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position

 

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Associate’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales or Promotion work
  • Strong market knowledge to effectively promote the brand and its products or services
  • Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
