Machine shop seeking to hire a full time CNC Lathe Programmer/Setup/Operator Machinist with Min 5 years experience.

This is not an entry level position.

Requirements:
• Ability to program and machine using HAAS CNC Lathe
• Manage and instruct setup personnel/operators to properly run programmed parts.
• Minimum of five years experience in programming.
• Make suggestions for improvement in cost, processes, quality, and productivity
• Strong mechanical aptitude, good math skills
• Must be able to read and understand drawings
• Able to set up, and operate machines
• Ability to inspect own work and work under minimal supervision
• Must be detail oriented; problem solver; and desire to learn.
• Self-motivated, mechanically inclined, good visualization skill.
• Flexible in job assignment and duties, must be motivated, possess a “can do” attitude, initiative and enthusiasm for the job and demonstrate an excellent attendance record.

Experience using an Epilog Laser a plus, but not required.
