Our busy private Dermatology Practice is looking for an energetic, outgoing, friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team!

We are looking for a person who has; a positive attitude, confidence, a desire to learn, and the ability to multi-task! Patient care is our number one priority, so your ability to provide excellent communication and customer service is essential. Prior Reception experience a plus!

We appreciate flexibility since we need to cover both day and night shifts (we have evening hours until about7 pm and a few Saturdays until 1/1:30 pm). Required Qualifications

The candidate must have:

• Friendly disposition and good "people" skills.
• Speak with patients over the phone and in person with confidence
• High School diploma/GED
• Ability to work on an iPad and other computer skills - Required
• Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Exemplary customer service skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service by greeting and registering the patients
• Updating existing & new patient’s demographics and insurance changes
• Collecting patient co-pays and past due balances
• Scheduling appointments for new and returning patients
• Knowledge of Insurance carriers and referral requirements
• Answering phone calls

Preferred Qualifications

• Full Time (Monday - Friday) Preferred
• Minimum of (1-2) years of Medical Office experience preferred. EMR experience a plus!
• Experience with CareCloud and Modernizing Medicine (EMR's) very helpful!
• Excellent communication skills and a passion to work together as a team!
• Exceptional customer service (previous customer service experience is a plus).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Outstanding time management.
• Empathetic with patient needs and concerns.
• Ability to work well with all department staff; billing, Medical Assistants and physicians alike.

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
