Position: Public Health Nurse 1 or 2

Pay Status: Full Time (37.5 hrs/week)

Salary Range: $25.00 - $33.29 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse or LPN in the State of Ohio; Associates Degree accepted; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Valid Ohio driver’s license.

Summary of Essential Duties

Under the direction and supervision of the Nursing Director, this position utilizes nursing and public health concepts and theories including basic epidemiology to provide selected health promotion and disease prevention services to individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings. Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs including selected health education programs. Participates in public health programs including but not limited to communicable disease control, services to children with medical handicaps, health screenings, immunizations, and selected grant-sponsored programs.
