CHARACTER * COMMON SENSE * CREATIVITY

The Climbers are an integral part of the team as they are the experts. They prepare the
trees for removal, trimming and rigging operations, operate tools and equipment to safely
lower branches, and orchestrate tree removals of all sizes and degrees of difficulty that could
incorporate various rigging systems.

This is a skilled job requiring at least two year of professional tree climbing experience.

What We’re looking for:

Qualifications

Experienced Climbers should possess the following skills:

2+ Years in Tree Climbing with use of harness and climbing line

Pruning and removing of trees on residential and commercial properties
(according to industry standards)

Knot tying knowledge and ability

Safe chainsaw operation and maintenance

Experience using chippers, stump grinders, pole pruners, ropes, harness,
gas powered machinery Tree ID of common species (Mesquites, Palo Verdes)

Basic knowledge of tree health

Practice of general safety industry guidelines

Use of PPE (Protective Personal Equipment)

Arborist and Forestry experience is valuable but not required.

A team player who enjoys working with others

Outdoor enthusiast! You will be working outdoors come rain or shine

Safety minded Individual safety is our top concern.

Ability to lift 75 or more pounds

The Grounds Crew is the backbone of an efficient tree service company.
As a Groundsmen, you’ll work closely with climbers and Crew Leaders to
ensure safety and a smooth and efficient completion of daily projects.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE A MUST !!

This is an entry-level job designed to show you the ropes.
No experience? No problem!

What We’re looking for:

A team player who enjoys working with others

Knot tying knowledge and ability
