We are looking for an energetic, focused, and organized individual to assist the Sales Team and President in various administrative tasks. The environment is fast-paced and requires an individual who can work closely with all departments, as well as the sales team. Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
* Answering phones and taking/entering sales orders into the computer system
* Entering recurring sales orders into the system
* Systematically distributing promotion material through various media
* Generating and distributing sales reports
* Updating product prices in the accounting software
* Providing product information/prices to customers through various media
* Reviewing inventory levels
* Purchasing gourmet seafood items
* Tasting and sampling gourmet seafood items
* Assisting the president and sales team
* Monitoring follow-up tasks and projects assigned to the sales team
* Attendance and participation in various weekly meetings
* Other administrative tasks as assigned
Required skills:
* Strong communication skills
* Interpersonal and organizational skills
* Solid knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
* Able to learn accounting and contact management software programs
* Positive attitude
Compensation: Starting $40,000 +/yr. + Full Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Seafood Allowance, and Company Profit Sharing (after 1 yr employment)
