Responsibilities: The lifeguard will be responsible for the supervision of all individuals while in the pool. This includes knowledge of individuals swimming assessments and any medical restrictions. The lifeguard will ensure that pool area is in safe working order prior to letting individuals in the pool (lifejackets available, rope in place, pool area free from debris).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Nassau County Lifeguard Certification preferred.
• CPR certification from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Prior experience preferred but not required. Must be comfortable working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.

Walk-in applicants are welcome: 72 South Woods Rd Woodbury, NY 11797 between the hours of 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
