At VHC, we always put our patients and their comfort and care first. Our team is a dedicated group of people who focus on the treatment of varicose veins and vein-related diseases. Because the first point of contact for our patients is often on the phone or at the reception desk, the Patient Care Coordinator must share our patient-first attitude.

Duties include:

  • Welcoming everyone who walks through the door or calls the practice
  • Assisting patients during the intake process of filling out forms and collecting insurance
  • Scheduling patients and organizing and updating providers’ daily schedules
  • Collecting and recording of patient payments
  • Answering a multi-line phone, routing calls appropriately, retrieving phone messages and prioritizing return calls
  • Assisting providers with patient flow and any other assistance they may need

Required qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and work with a complex scheduling system. Individuals who love puzzles have thrived in this position. Crosswords, word problems, rubik's cube, and other brain teasers.
  • People-person
  • Ability to put patients’ needs first at all times
  • Ability to multi-task and organize
  • Strong comfort with office technology
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
  • Customer service experience
