An Assistant Teacher’s primary respobsibility is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourage their social, emotional, physical and intellutual development. Designing and implanting a developmentally appropriate curriculum according to guidelines established by Alaina’s Children’s Center and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). An Assistant Teacher will review important decisions with his/her supervisor, and is accountable for communicating with parents and co-workers through in-person interactions and Procare, while maintaining positive relationships with parents, children and co-workers.
