Responsibilities:

MUST HAVE CURRENT GA. "SECURITY GUARD" CERTIFICATION

* Have a clean criminal background

*Have good hygiene and be well groomed

* Be able to stand for long periods of time

*Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors

* Patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates

* Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises

* Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

* Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons

* Answer alarms and investigate disturbances

* Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and alarm systems

* Perform first aid or CPR if necessary

* Escort individuals to specific locations or provide personal protection as needed

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred

* Loss prevention experience is a plus

* Strong conflict management skills

* Excellent observation skills and attention to detail

* Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Must speak English or be bi-lingual
