Successful AGM candidates have a winning attitude, with a vision for success and will have at least two years’ experience in Warehouse Management or similar experience, knowledge of Party Tenting Installations a plus.

Position Summary: The AGM is responsible for effective supervision of the day-to-day activities of the entire special events operations team of personnel. Reporting to the General Manager, ensuring that routing, deliveries, installations, pickups, receiving, distribution, and all other warehouse functions are performed in an efficient and safe manner, while fostering a fair employment environment that encourages positive employee relations and supports retention.
Position Responsibilities of the AGM:
- Ensure adequate staff scheduled to meet existing orders. Adjust schedule as necessary to meet add-on orders.
- Establish & maintain a rotating weekend staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage for last-minute weekend orders.
- Maintain weekly personnel “On Call” list for after hours and unscheduled weekend deliveries/pickups.
- Follow, support and enforce company and department policies and procedures.
- Establish an atmosphere in the office that promotes customer service and teamwork.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Ensure that staff has all trucks loaded & unloaded properly, including safely tying in the merchandise & tagging of the equipment.
- Maintain studio, warehouse and trucks in a neat and orderly fashion with aisleways always kept free of merchandise and other items.
- Supervise hourly operational staff members to ensure compliance with company objectives.
- Jump in when needed to deliver & install tents & related party items as needed to achieve company objectives.
- Assist as needed in the overall operation of the store.
- Perform additional duties as directed by senior management.
- Unless already fully experienced, must be ready, willing, and able to learn installation techniques and subsequently train staffing on Frame, Pole, and NaviTrac Tents, while supervising and assisting the operations crews as needed to ensure employee performance and activity meets company targets.

Education, Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and materials management processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Two Years of management experience required. Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is preferred.
- Must be able to seasonally work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and own transportation to work.
- Be able to use mathematics to solve problems.
- Be able to speak English clearly and write legibly.
- Be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels.
- Be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.
- Be able to maintain a high degree of patience and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
- Be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
- Have a full range of motion and dexterity.
- Pass the company drug screen.
- Pass Federal DOT Physical.
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred.
