Asbury United Methodist Church in growing Charles Town, WV-bordering Northern Virginia and approximately 60 miles from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD-is seeking a full-time Organist/Pianist/Choir Director. Instruments include Pergallo Pipe Organ and Baldwin Grand Piano. We offer a competitive, negotiable salary with benefits. Church experience preferred but not required. We are looking for the right person to expand our music ministries.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

A. Oversees and directs choirs of Asbury UMC

B. Plays organ/piano for traditional worship and keyboard for contemporary worship

C. Works with the pastor to select appropriate music for worship

D. Play for funerals and weddings

E. Other duties as needed
