My name is Jon Turner. My wife and I own Blondies Bagels and Cafe on Daniel Island. We are in our 7th year of business and have established ourselves as a bustling, fast-paced counter cafe that is heavily integrated in the community. The restaurant is open M-F 7am till 2pm and Sat/Sun 7am to noon.

We are looking for full time second to the grill employee who has a great attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment. Along with an hourly salary of $17 to $23 per hour, we offer medical, dental, vision, 401K and paid time off (based on tenure). We are a great team and take tremendous pride in our staff. Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares, washes and cuts food to be cooked
• Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips
• Ensures accuracy of order before serving
• Multi-tasks by preparing multi orders simultaneously
• Working the Grill
• Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and dishes
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of or ability to learn sanitation and regulations for workplace safety
• Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
• Ability to work efficiently and quickly
• Must be able to work well as part of a team
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Ability to maintain personal cleanliness

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work early morning, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at a time
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
