Pawsitive Vibes Pet Resort is seeking responsible and motivated college students looking for part-time work in a fast-paced animal care environment. This position is ideal for students studying animal science, veterinary medicine, business, marketing, or anyone who enjoys working with animals and people.

Position Overview:

As a Pet Care Associate, you will be responsible for providing attentive care to pets while maintaining a safe, clean, and structured environment. You will also assist with client communication and front desk responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Feed and provide water to pets according to individual instructions

Assist with medication administration as directed

Supervise dog play groups and individual interactions

Clean kennels, litter boxes, and maintain sanitation standards

Monitor pets for signs of illness or behavioral changes

Assist clients with check-in, check-out, and general inquiries

Follow all company procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to handle dogs of various sizes

Comfortable with physical activity and lifting as needed

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Reliable transportation to Edinburg, TX

Previous experience with animals is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Position Details:

Part-time (20–25 hours per week)

4-hour shifts available

Monday through Friday with weekends and holidays as needed

Starting pay from $8.00 per hour
