UNTA GORDA, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) – A bustling household is seeking TWO PART-TIME NANNIES ideally (or one Full-time Nanny) to care for their adorable 4-year-old son with autism.  They are looking for someone dependable, professional, caring & naturally nurturing, someone who LOVES playing with kids and doing activities, someone who is high energy and loves to be a nanny! This kiddo is on the move, so they require someone who is not only able to keep up with him but is sincerely interested in having fun with him!

Their son is autistic and non-verbal and uses an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device to communicate his needs. He is sweet, smart, very independent, and potty trained, but can require special attention.  Ideal candidates must have experience working with children with autism and sensory disorders. They value someone who understands the safety issues that come along with autism and can always practice vigilance.

They are open to either of the following two scenarios:

Scenario #1 (ideal)

TWO PART-TIME NANNIES

Weekday Nanny works Monday - Thursday Split shift from 7 am- 9 am then again 4 pm -7:30 pm 

Weekend Nanny works Saturdays & Sundays from 8 am-6 pm

Every other weekend coverage 

Scenario #2

ONE FULL-TIME NANNY will work a SPLIT SCHEDULE M-F and full-time on WEEKENDS!  

Monday through Thursday from 7 am-9 am and 4 pm-7:30 pm

Fridays OFF

Saturday and Sunday from 8 am-6 pm

The family may be able to provide 1 weekend off per month.
 

Ultimately, FLEXIBILITY is essential regardless of the scenario. The schedule is not set in stone and there is room for negotiation. There will be overnights required when parents travel for business. Overnights typically span 4-5 days, occurring approximately 1-3 times per year, alongside shorter 2-3-day durations every 2-3 months. There may also be opportunities to travel occasionally.  Their son attends school and speech therapy from 8 am-4 pm Monday-Friday, plays at the park from 4 pm-5 pm, and has dinner and then bed at 7 pm.  The household is fully staffed with a Household Manager, Chef, and Personal Assistant. You must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  Duties include complete childcare, as well as transporting the child to and from school. A family car will be provided unless you prefer to use your vehicle while on the job, then reimbursement will be provided. 

Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, and vacation. Benefits also include quarterly bonuses and healthcare. Pay is $25-35/hour gross via payroll, depending on experience. The position is LIVE OUT only. The start date is ASAP!
