Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to seniors in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living based on training and experience.
• Engage in companionship activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Administer medication reminders to ensure clients take prescribed medications on time.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments, providing transportation and assistance.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and dressing while respecting their privacy and dignity.
• Support prescribed range of motion exercises to promote physical well-being.
• Offer specialized assistance and care for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, and Parkinson's.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and registration.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Preferred qualifications include CNA license, Home Health Aide certification, or Personal Care Aide certification.
