Hawaii’s first and oldest operations and maintenance company protecting solar assets is seeking a PV Field Service Technician to join our 100% employee-owned statewide team.

The PV Service Technician works under the direct supervision of the General Manager and collaborates closely with the lead PV system and lead inverter technicians. Service Technicians are responsible for performing daily cleaning and maintenance service at residential and commercial sites across the island. No previous PV experience is required and we will provide paid on the job training.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Inspecting, cleaning, troubleshooting, and replacing PV systems and their components
• Detailed note taking and photo documentation of work performed
• Timely documentation submission and communication with team members
• Superior attention to detail and safe working practices

Candidates will be required to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for quality of work. Critical thinking, problem solving, time management, basic math, reliable transportation and comfort working at heights are essential. The ideal candidate will have previous solar industry experience and familiarity with major equipment manufacturers like Enphase, SolarEdge, SMA, Tigo, Fronius, etc. Working experience with the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel) is also highly valuable. We are an organization that values safety and training as paramount. Active safety certifications are highly valued. Ongoing education will be provided and we pay to maintain active training certifications for items like First Aid, CPR, OSHA 10-hr Construction, Electrical Safety Awareness, Lock Out – Tag Out, and Fall Protection.
