Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Development Associate to join our team. The Development Associate will play a key role in supporting our fundraising efforts and donor relations activities. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events, including donor cultivation events, annual appeals, and special fundraising initiatives.

Conduct prospect research to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.

Maintain accurate donor records and databases, including gift processing and acknowledgment letters.

Assist in the creation and distribution of fundraising materials, including print materials, email appeals, and social media content.

Collaborate with team members to develop stewardship strategies for donor recognition and engagement.

Provide administrative support to the development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, and managing correspondence.Stay informed about trends and best practices in non-profit fundraising and donor relations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as non-profit management, fundraising, communications, or marketing).

Previous experience in non-profit fundraising, development, or related fields is preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management software (experience with platforms like Raiser's Edge or Salesforce is a plus).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
