There are weekly choral classes within an expanding Music Therapy Program at the Charles George Department Of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Asheville, NC. For each choral rehearsal & performance, we are looking for a skilled Piano/Keyboard Accompanist. An existing Instructor will facilitate the class.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced - Expert Piano Playing Ability
• Ability to sight-read & sight-play
• Ability to accompany vocal warm-ups (scales, etc.)
• Ability to accompany Soprano, Alto, Tenor, & Bass vocal lines in any combination
• Ability to play full Piano Accompaniment
• Ability to adhere to class rehearsal & community performance schedule (5-20 hours/week dependent on Program needs

There may be opportunities to teach Piano/Keyboard as it's own course offering in the future.

Salary: $18.25 per hour
