We are looking for a motivated individual with at least 1 year of construction related experience with an emphasis on welding and metal fabrication to start in first quarter of 2024 .

VT Custom Handrails and Metalwork LLC is small fast growing construction company based in Morrisville that specializes in building custom metal railing systems and pre-fabricated railings as well as wooden stair systems, Metal stair systems, cable railing systems, smokers and a variety of metal products we fabricate on site and in the shop. We are also a general contractor and build decks, do multilevel renovations, floor installations and a growing number of construction related projects with an emphasis on high end custom metal work.


As an Ideal candidate you will...
1.) Be proficient with measuring tape and basic hand tools, speed square, framing square, Angle finder, level, drills, saws etc.
2.) Able to perform welding in most positions whether Mig, Tig, or Stick
3.) Able to troubleshoot equipment and have a willingness to solve problems.
4.) Be proficient in mathematics, calculate angles and solve simple but complex mathematical equations.
5.) Be personable, respectable and possess a strong positive mental attitude and unwillingness to give up.
6.) Able to read welding blue prints, architectural drawings and hand written drawings w/ ability to draw blue prints and design and fabricate basic tubular framework from metal maintaining squareness and dimension.
7.) Willingness and proficiency with many different types of skilled tasks some menial such as painting, sanding, etc
8.) Has a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
9.) Can get to work on time and operates on your own personal initiative.
10.) Wants to grow with a company and eventually take on a leadership role.
11.) Has an eye for detail.
