MS THERAPIST (UNLICENSED) - FACT 050 

JOB SUMMARY: The FACT MS Therapist will work with a dynamic multidisciplinary treatment team where creative problem solving and compassionate support are required. The MS Therapist will assist adults in recovery from mental illness and co-occurring disorders live successfully in the community. This position requires a clear understanding of the characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as knowledge of the PACT model.

The MS Therapist will be responsible for assisting consumers in increasing social skills, improving level of functioning and gaining insight into their illness including: offering supportive counseling, providing structured counseling, administration of assessments and participation in treatment team meetings while collaborating with other FACT staff. This is a Field Based position meaning 75% of the workday will be visiting consumers in the field providing services.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in nursing, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation, or psychology required  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
• Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening
• Satisfactory Driving Record while possessing a Valid FL Driver's License
