Licensed Mental Health Clinician - Salary Exempt

Scope of Service: Completes screenings and intake process for new client referrals and functions as liaison for incoming referrals with clinical and external providers. Conducts ongoing face-to-face encounters while providing comprehensive planning and active supports based on unique needs of each individual. Completes, submits, and monitors records based on fidelity, federal funding, or other contracting requirements. Seeks and obtain preauthorization and reauthorization of services. Networks with area community providers and provides case management supports for the benefit of the clients. Performs other duties as assigned. EOE

Position Summary: Provides a comprehensive array of direct clinical services to adults and families with mental health, intellectual and/or addiction disorders. Counsels and provides psychotherapeutic and rehabilitation services in individual and group settings to facilitate independence with identified treatment goals toward symptom management. Carries a clinical case load as assigned, coordinates services, including assessments and triage of clients. Performs other duties as assigned. EOE

Job Requirements: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required with a minimum of one year (1) experience working in the behavioral health field

Prior experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and/or addiction.

Valid Driver’s license with clean record is required and must be maintained.
Knowledge of the community support system and resources is preferred.

First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Employee is responsible to maintain ongoing certification.

Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.
