KERRVILLE, TX(LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - Sweet family in the Texas Hill Country is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY for their daughters; 2.5 years old, and 7 months old. The oldest daughter goes to preschool full-time during the fall and spring and primary care will be for the 7-month-old. 

Hours are 8 am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday. There is a 9-year-old Black lab in the home who would just need to be let out in the afternoons and fed on occasion. Candidates should be comfortable with pets and have no pet allergies. The family has a housekeeper who comes every other week. Mom works from home on Mondays and Fridays.

The 7-month-old daughter is recovering from a significant hospitalization for a respiratory illness and needs a nanny who is germ-conscious. The family would like the candidate to be a non-smoker and comfortable with “scrubbing in” when arriving at the home.

Duties include helping plan activities, helping rotate the clothes through seasons, laundry for the kids, feeding the children, picking up after the children throughout the day, and helping the children reach their milestones. The youngest daughter is slightly behind on her milestones because of her recent hospitalization and the family would love a candidate who can encourage appropriate educational play and activities. 

The primary care is for the 7-month-old, but the nanny will need to be comfortable caring for both children in the summers and other infrequent occasions. The candidate would need a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work as well as driving the children. Candidates must have a clean driving record. 

The family does not have a vaccination preference at this time. Candidates should be comfortable signing an NDA. Benefits include PTO + $1000 signing bonus for the position. Start date is ASAP. Pay is $25-30/hr gross based on experience.
