Landscape Designer will work closely with the General Manager and the Landscape Installation Team.
Designer responsibilities include, but are not limited to , meeting with clients to discuss design concepts, design needs, budget, and developing and drawing landscape plans with use of current landscape software including Dynascape.
On site consultation as well as in store consultation to assist homeowner and commercial clients with design ideas and plant choices.
Estimating cost of projects, developing proposals and making sales presentations and closing sales.
Providing the landscape Installation Team with the information needed to carry out the installation of the design.
Following up with the client after the design ,through the installation, and at the completion of the work to discuss maintenance and care of the landscape.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Drivers License
Knowledge of landscape design and construction, and a strong knowledge of horticulture
Up to date knowledge of landscape design styles and current trends
Creating and reading blueprints
Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and able to work unsupervised on projects
Sales and customer service skills
Computer skills including landscape software like Dynascape, MS Office, ability to learn new software
We hope to have this be a full-time job, but would consider a person part-time.
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week. Day shifts, no nights, no Sundays.
