Mind Your Dog is a brand new facility offering doggie daycare & boarding, located in Glocester, RI. We opened in early 2022 and are looking for hard-working, dog lovers to join our team! Our mission is to provide superior quality, loving care for dogs in a safe and clean environment that supports their needs. We are looking for high energy, positive team members that will help to create a safe pack environment and care for the dogs as their own. You will be trained on dog assessment, handling, and safety protocols as well as the company’s policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include: * Maintain a safe play environment by supervising, communicating, and interacting with the dogs. * Exercising, feeding, and giving potty breaks to dogs. * Cleaning – there is a great deal of cleaning with this position to ensure a healthy, safe environment. * Greeting and assisting customers with their questions and needs We are looking for fill both part-time and full-time positions. Positions will require evenings, some weekends, and some holidays. Job Requirements: * High school graduate or GED preferred * Good oral communication skills * Previous work experience demonstrating dependability * Previous experience providing animal care (personal or job related), equestrians and/or farm experience strongly preferred. * Self-motivated, independent worker * Proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things * Ability to work in a team environment * Demonstrated flexibility and proven coping skills
