Our goal is to provide the most effective developmental services to children with autism and developmental delays.

Aspen Developmental Services is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our team of service professionals caring for children with Autism and other developmental/intellectual disabilities, in their schools, community, and at their homes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • You must have a bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Ed/Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, Behavioral Sciences (ABA), Family Relations/Family and Child Services, Counseling, etc.
  • You must have a minimum 1040 hours of supervised experience working with children who have developmental/intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders, ages 3-21 years old
  • Complete a 40 hour Registered Behavior Training (RBT) certification training

Must complete Intervention Specialist competency course work approved by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to demonstrate competencies related to the requirements to provide intervention services.

Aspen Developmental Services will assist successful candidate with completion of coursework to successfully gain certification with Department of Health and Welfare upon hire.

Able to maintain a mild to moderate activity level and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

In this role you will:

· Provide functional and behavioral interventions

· Complete assessments in collaboration with your Supervisor

· Behavioral Interventionists develop implementation plans in collaboration with their Supervisor

· Collect data and graph progress

· Provide a safe teaching environment

· Behavioral Interventionist encourage the child's successful developmental growth and acceptable social behaviors through reinforcing appropriate behaviors.

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
