Position Type: 30-36 hours per week (some weekends)

Salary Range: $17 - $20 per hour

We are seeking a dynamic hair salon Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help us create, execute, and track successful digital marketing campaigns. Position Summary:

As a Marketing Coordinator at DeCola Salon, you will be responsible for managing social media platforms, email campaigns, graphic design, administering SEO services, creative conception, and tackling special projects/events when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Work proactively with management and teammates to develop, implement, and execute successful marketing campaigns.
• Develop monthly content calendars.
• Nurture client relationships, fostering trust for content generation.
• Generate concepts, develop designs, and create content for outlets, including emails, social media, special projects/events, and service and product campaigns as needed.
• Make suggestions for improving marketing efforts based on observed performance.
• Engage and share knowledge and skills with the team to provide awareness of marketing best practices.
• Research new industries and stay current with existing industries to help develop needs for the salon and reach our target audience.

Skills & Abilities:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a business-related field is preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or design-related position is preferred.
• A strong understanding of how to use and schedule social media to achieve desired results.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong research skills to understand evolving trends within the market and develop leads.

Bonus Points if you have:

• An existing passion for hair styling, makeup, and the beauty industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently derive insights from data.
• Facebook Ads experience.
• Website experience (Wix, WordPress, or Shopify).
• Email Marketing experience (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
• Design platform experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
