Partime sewing instructor 
Sew Fun 4 kids LLC is looking for a reliable, energetic and friendly sewing instructor with expertise in the field of fashion, design and sewing who has experience working with children.
Sew Fun 4 kids has provided fun machine and hand sewing classes in Westchester since 2018 and recently relocated to Larchmont, N.Y. Our studio provides after school and Saturday sewing classes for children as young as seven to learn to sew and make their own clothing. Our teaching staff is responsible for ensuring a safe and creative environment that is engaging for all students.

The ideal instructor has excellent time management skills and can keep children on task and finishing their projects on time.

Skills required-
Basic knowledge of sewing
Basic pattern making preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of how clothing is constructed
Experience working with children and families
Preferable graduate of a fashion, art or educational college level program or currently in a program. 
Personable and friendly
Excellent time management and communication skills
Our classes run in 90 minute increments throughout the week. Once you become an instructor we always offer additional hours for special events, birthday parties, and subbing!

For 7 years Sew fun 4 kids has been offering creative sewing and design classes for children (and all ages) in Westchester. All classes will have up to 10 students with 2-3 sewing instructors. Our studio is equipped with Brother sewing machines for each child and all fabrics and supplies are provided. All classes take place at 1889, Palmer Avenue, 2nd floor, Larchmont, NY. In addition to the set class schedule we always offer additional hours for special events, private sewing lessons, and birthday parties so you can easily pick up extra teaching shifts. Join our amazing team of sewing instructors & educators!

Job Type: Part-time
Currently looking for Saturday mornings and possible in the week shifts. Our classes run after school starting at 4PM and on Saturday mornings.
