The person for this position reports to the Director and / or Assistant Director. Responsible helping out where ever needed, stepping in for any teacher that is absent, and for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. The person selected for this position will be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained while meeting and exceeding the Texas Childcare Minimum Standards.

Must be able to pass a drug screen and FBI fingerprint background check. No experience is required, however you must:

*have HS diploma or GED

*be eligible to work in the USA

*have professional appearance

*be polite

*kind-hearted

*patient

*be a team player

*be able to problem solve

*quick on your feet

*be able to stand, stoop, squat and lift throughout the day

*be able to lift at least 50 lbs on a consistent basis
