Retail Associate

Join the Osage County Guns Retail Team and embark on a rewarding career at our renowned firearms and accessories store located in Wright City, Missouri. As a Retail Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, sharing your passion for firearms, and contributing to a positive and informative shopping experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail experience, especially in firearms or a related industry, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of firearms and accessories, including safety regulations and state/federal laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to possess firearms in accordance with federal and state laws.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, purchases, and returns.
• Process Federal background checks on customer wanting to buy a firearm.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of firearms and accessories to assist customers in making informed decisions.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves and merchandising.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
• Stay updated with changes in firearms laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Provide support to store management as needed.
• Uphold the values and brand image of Osage County Guns.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Full-time.
• Work Days: Tuesday - Friday 10am - 6pm & Saturday 9am - 5pm
• Location: Osage County Guns retail store in Wright City, Missouri.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, a lucrative commission structure, with opportunities for advancement.
