Sun Country Engineering and Surveying is seeking qualified individuals for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor in Training position to help with a wide range of projects from conception through to completion. Skills

• Professional Land Surveyor License in Oregon State or obtain within 6 months to 1 year.
• Licensure as a professional surveyor in the state of Oregon preferred.
• Land use, survey, and project management knowledge is a plus
• Proven working experience in land surveying
• Excellent knowledge of Auto CAD, Civil 3D required
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• 4 years of survey experience.
• Survey boundary analysis and computations of topography and utility surveys.
• Prepare and review CAD work, plats, ALTA/ACSM surveys, and final surveys.
• Perform quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans and record plats.
• Prepare surveying estimates.
• Floodplain Elevation Certificates
• Knowledge of engineering design, land development, and construction practices.
• Knowledge of standard surveying methods and procedures. 
• Leadership and strong communication skills.
• Experience with conventional, Trimble GPS and Robotics data collection equipment.
