Position duties include: Recruitment, training, support, and retention of Volunteer Advocates.  Attending court hearings for children in foster care to determine their needs. Assigning and monitoring Advocates for cases. Assisting with court reports, referrals and meeting the needs of the child(ren).  Fiscal management of the organization, fundraising, and gaining sponsorship from businesses and individual donors. Grant writing/funding search experience is a plus.  Duties also include management of the CASA Kid's Closet to provide items to foster families for the care of the children.  The director answers to the CASA Board and shares duties and an office with an Operations Director.   Hours are flexible, 25-40 per week with no overtime.  Paid Holidays and PTO. Must pass a background check and be of good moral character. Pay starts at $18 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
