Experience with children/families with developmental needs a plus.

Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Summary of Job Duties:

• Provide consultations with parents regarding regarding child development, anticipatory guidance, and other parenting topics.
• Facilitate workshops and one-on-one instruction for parents of young children.
• Plan parent-child activities together with parents to positively impact child development and nurture healthy parent-child relationships.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or Specialized Certificates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work or related field.

Working Conditions:

• Must possess a current Illinois Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Occasional evening and weekend work and overnight travel to professional conferences required.
