Our clinic is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented individual to join our team of chiropractic assistants. The ideal candidate has a background in the health care industry, strong customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail. This position requires someone who can handle paperwork, answer phone calls and schedule appointments as well as assist the chiropractor by charting all dictated patient notes. A chiropractic assistant is on the move during each shift and must be prepared for a variety of responsibilities.

Expected working hours will be as follows:

• Monday- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Tuesday- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Wednesday- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Thursday- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Friday- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform office tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing, and accounts payable and receivable.
• Provide support to chiropractors in their use of ancillary treatments.
• Provide clerical support in the office of the chiropractor.
• Meet with patients before treatment to assess the problem and help them get ready for treatment.
• Shadow the chiropractor to assure proper and accurate charting of dictated notes.
• Perform basic office maintenance such as vacuuming, dusting, snow shoveling of patient pathways.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
