Doug’s ToGo is a mobile food truck that has been providing fresh seafood as a fundraising opportunity to nonprofit organizations all over the state since 2008. Our mission is to provide outstanding, high-quality food with even better service, while focusing on giving back to various charities. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team and take on the role of Food Truck Manager/ Driver. This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that the safety standards are being maintained while food is being prepared and cooked. A typical week would consist of working four twelve hour shifts a week, totaling approximately forty-eight hours a week. Two year's experience is required for this position. Additional training is ongoing and as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overseeing the day to day operations
Loading and unloading the trailer. Lifting a minimum of 50lbs.
Distributes tasks and sets goals for the Restaurant and ensures that the employees are
performing exceptionally. Maintaining the required food records- inventory, food usage, sales,
etc.
Promotes the Restaurant mission, vision and its values
Equipment maintenance- including trucks, trailer, fryers, cooking tools, etc.
Responding to customer questions/complaints
Preparing and serving food
Ensuring safety standards are being met by staff while preparing/cooking the food
Ensure sanitation standards are being met by staff
Associates degree required preferable in management
Maintaining a neat appearance
