AV Technician-Installer Job Description

We are seeking qualified, self-driven AV technician-installers with a minimum 1 year of experience in AV tech, installation or electrical contracting fields. Strong candidates include a working knowledge of audio, video and lighting equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pull and terminate wire to equipment locations
  • Mount, install and configure sound equipment, video displays and LED walls, projectors, video production equipment, wall panels, touch screens, and theatrical lighting.
  • Setup configure and test equipment for functionality.
  • Light duty construction
  • Insuring that clean and meticulous care is taken for client’s facilities and environment.

Our minimum requirements include:

  • Experience with pulling and terminating wire.
  • Experience with tools and light construction for equipment mounting.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Experience using lifts and working in high places
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work team player.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Of good character and understanding of personal responsibility.
  • Comfortable with a high-paced work environment.
  • Strong references in the AV or electrical contracting fields are a must.
