Cognitive Behavioral Coach:

  • Brain Balance Achievement Centers seeks a dynamic Sensory Motor/Cognitive Coach to lead and drive each student through our program, many of our clients have an Autism diagnosis and/or have aggressive behaviors.
  • This position requires a motivated and passionate individual who will guide and assist children through various activities that will stimulate the brain and create profound change for children's functional levels.
  • Our unique Brain Balance program deals directly with children who have disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, ODD, Dyslexia and Processing Disorders.

Requirements Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with children with Autism/ASD
  • Experience with children ages 4 - 18
  • Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Confident dealing with difficult behaviors
  • Knowledgeable in behavior management techniques
  • Patient and kind towards children with special needs
  • Team player
  • Outgoing/enthusiastic and confident personality
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Available most afternoons into the evening

Job Details:

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  • Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
  • Work Location: In person

Schedule:

  • 4-8 hour shifts available
  • Day or Evening shifts
  • Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school, College in field (Preferred)
  • Experience: Working with Children with disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)
  • License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred)
