LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY- The most amazing, warm, and kind family in midtown is looking for a WEEKEND CAREGIVER who is IDEALLY FLUENT IN HEBREW AND/OR MUSICAL for their 4-year-old daughter. This is mostly a live-out position with possible weekend travel. The family likes to go out to their home in the Hamptons over the weekends (not just in the summer), so in those instances, you'd be staying over. The position is for a flexible hourly structure during the weekends, ranging from a few hours a day to (rarely) the entire weekend. Whether you work the hours or not, you will be paid to remain "on call". MUST BE IN CHILDCARE AS A CAREER! 

They are hoping to find someone who is genuinely there because they love their job. They often travel and may sometimes ask you to accompany them if their full-time nanny is not available, so you must have a valid passport. Someone who is healthy, active, and has that 'something special' to bring to the table-- whether it be that you speak a second language, love dance, art, or music, places great value on such attributes. Swimming and skiing are a plus but not necessarily a deal-breaker. They are of Jewish tradition but do not keep a kosher household. They are hoping to find candidates who share similar values, belief systems, and morals.

Ultimately, they are looking for someone with exceptional judgment and intuition; someone who is always three steps ahead, extremely thoughtful in their approach, takes initiative, is super flexible & easygoing, but meticulous, rigorous, detail-oriented, and organized. You must be EXTREMELY genuine, kind, and wholesome with incredible character-- you are someone who always does the right thing even when no one is watching! They are grateful for their own privilege and humble overall. They have a housekeeper and a cook, so your primary duties involve all care centered around their daughter. They would appreciate someone who is down to earth and sees themselves as part of their household team. This role is to augment the support from their full-time nanny, so you will work closely with her. 

Their daughter is super warm, loving, bright, curious, intelligent, and inquisitive. They are searching for someone who can challenge her, and is intellectually savvy and alert while emotionally intelligent. Someone who is fully invested in their daughter's absolute best interest and will help nurture her and foster each stage of development emotionally, intellectually, and physically during the hours they are with her. You would collaborate with the full-time nanny to help achieve these goals and ensure their daughter is always supported and watched over. They are looking for a long-term commitment. 

Their ideal candidate passionately loves what they do and is grounded and pure. They have a driver in the city and access to a car in their summer home, so a valid driver's license would be required. They also have a dog who comes and goes and is attached to their daughter, so you must be comfortable with dogs.  Start date ASAP!
