AIM OF THE JOB

The Facility Lead Caregiver will be responsible for staffing shifts as needed within the facility, acting as a liaison between the resident and Comfort Keepers, and performing administrative work relating to resident care coordination. This position oversees multiple aspects of resident care and works in collaboration with other caregivers and staff within the facility.

Resident Care Coordination:

  • Facilitate the admission process for new residents, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Conduct initial assessments and interviews with new residents and their families.
  • Coordinate and manage the care schedules of residents within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their families to address their care needs.

Documentation and Forms:

  • Create and maintain various forms and records for each resident's care plan.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and in compliance with state regulations.
  • Review documentation from caregivers under supervision.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist with administrative duties as needed, including filing, data entry, and phone calls.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to streamline administrative processes.
  • Communicate changes and/or concerns regarding resident care to facility staff.
  • Provide direction for caregivers who may need extra assistance.

Shift Coverage:

  • Be available to cover shifts within the facility as needed to ensure 24/7 resident care coverage.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate unexpected staffing needs.
  • Staff shifts outside of the facility as directed by Comfort Keepers.
  • Supervise and train caregivers as needed.

Emergency Response:

  • Be prepared to respond promptly to emergencies or urgent situations within the facility.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage crisis situations effectively.

Qualifications:

  • HCA or CNA certification in the state of Washington.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Compassion and dedication to providing high-quality care to residents.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
