Avlon Finance is a full service accounting firm with offices in downtown Bellingham, serving clients in Whatcom County since 2002. We are looking for an experienced tax accountant to serve our existing and growing book of clients.

Compensation and Term:

• Negotiable hourly and/or per prepared return. Compensation range $80,000 to $105,000.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Business and Individual Tax preparation.
• Responsible for Tax deadlines, planning and administration for clients.
• Preparing Tax Preparation packet.
• Correspondence and scheduling with tax clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency preparing 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1041, 1040 tax returns.
• Required Education / Certification level of CPA or EA.
• 2+ Years of Tax Preparation Experience.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Excel.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, efficient with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work under deadlines.
