Job purpose

To provide outpatient nutrition counseling to clients with eating disorders or disordered eating in an office setting and virtually. To explore the client’s needs and provide tools, resources, and skills to help them achieve their goals through collaborative care. This job description can be modified at any time.

Duties and responsibilities

•  Provide education and counseling to each client to meet their needs
• Completes the required paperwork and electronic medical record charting for each client in a timely manner
• Actively participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team to collaborate with other providers for best treatment practice
• Participates in local health fairs/networking opportunities
• Engages in company marketing strategies
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Licensed as a Dietitian within the state of Georgia
• Knowledge in eating disorders, behavior change, intuitive eating, HAES®, weight-inclusive care and Intuitive Eating principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in counseling (MI/CBT) is preferred
