Job description

We are looking for a Full Time Sales Coordinator / Shipping person to join our team. It is a dynamic role that is both challenging and rewarding. This position is pivotal in connecting sales and production. There are physical aspects as some activities are in the shop (shipping) although it is primarily an office position.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues with the support of the production team

- Support the sales manager by documenting, coordinating and managing sales activities, generating estimates and sales orders as needed

- Answer customer calls/emails to process small parts orders

- Maintain and update customer database and sales records

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services

- Process orders through the invoice and shipping stages, including packaging orders for parts and components. Coordinate larger shipments via our resources for LTL shipping across the country. Lifting (50) pounds almost daily as needed.

- Physically load outgoing / offload and receive incoming items as needed.

Experience

- Proven experience in account management or sales coordination

- Organizational skills are essential to this role; multiple simultaneously occurring activities

- Familiarity with outside sales processes and techniques

- Ability to analyze sales data and provide insights for improvement

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships

- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Smartsheet is a plus

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

- Technical sales experience is a bonus

- Ability to multitask and have effective time management

- Familiarity with a shop environment, mechanical knowledge is a bonus

- Forklift experience is a bonus (certification available in-house)

- Positive attendance track record

Education / Other Requirements

- High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum requirement

- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
