GELATERIA GENTILE an artisanal italian gelateria and cafee' !

We are actively seeking the right enthusiastic individual for a Barista, Gelato Scooper position for our Williamsburg, Nolita and University Place locations.

The right team player will start on a probationary period and will prove him or herself for a Barista or Gelato Scooper position ramp-up in VERY short time.

The right candidate MUST HAVE:

- The right personality, integrity, honesty, attitude, and work ethic.

- Possession of the Food Permit by New York Health department

- Proactive, self-starter, meticulous attention to detail, and impeccable follow-through

- Professional and pleasent behave with the rest of the team.

- Previous experience in an Italian Cafe' and Gelateria huge plus.

- Extensive coffee and barista experience huge plus

- Previously barista or gelato scooper experience in a cafe' and gelateria setting huge plus.

-Reporting and follow the Director of Operation request and get also direction from the Capitan (manager) of the store.

-minimum of 3 shifts availability.

Store hours:

- Williamsburg and University locations opening 8 am - closing midnight

- Nolita location open at 9:30am and close at 12am.

The worker must work HARD and SMART for your store, your team, your colleagues, and the company.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: Hourly, from $16.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

All employees are required to have their vaccination card and to wear a mask during their shift. All areas in the store are to clean and sanitize frequently.

Experience:

• Barista experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• Guest services: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (Required)
